Sea Scarf

Sea Scarf Pattern

This is a fairly simple scarf pattern. It uses Berroco Cirrus yarn that I picked up in Seattle several years ago. I have used navy and white and a 6 mm crochet hook. All pattern is in UK terminology.

Materials:
Berroco Cirrus (Navy) 3 skeins
Berroco Cirrus (White) 2 skeins
6 mm crochet hook.

Abbreviations:
Tr - treble crochet
dc - double crochet
Sk2 - skip 2 spaces
Tr3 - treble crochet 3 times into same stitch

Pattern:
Chain 55 stitches
Row 1: In 3 chain from hook trc , trc into each chain to end
Row 2: tr into first 5 stitches, (sk2, tr into next 5 stitches, tr3, tr into next 5 stitches) repeat twice, sk2, tr into remaining 5 stitches.
Row 3: As row 2
Row 4: As row 2
Row 5: Cast on white yarn, dc into each stitch in row
Row 6: dc into each stitch in row
Row 7: Switch back to navy yarn chain 3, tr into first 5 stitches, (sk2, tr into next 5 stitches, tr3, tr into next 5 stitches) repeat twice, sk2, tr into remaining 5 stitches.
Row 8: as row 2
Row 9: as row 5
Row 10: as Row6
Row 11: Swicth back to navy yarn chain 3, tr into first 5 stitches, (sk2, tr into next 5 stitches, tr3, tr into next 5 stitches) repeat twice, sk2, tr into remaining 5 stitches.
Row 12-16: repeat row 2
Row 17: as row 5
Row 18: as row 6

This makes up the pattern repeat. This then continues  until the optimum length of scarf is reached.

Weave in all ends and block.

Enjoy!
